Thank you!

CityImage Communications started out as an idea I had when serving as Communications Coordinator for the City of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. I saw a need for cities without full-time communications staff to share important information with their residents, and also market and promote their communities for economic development reasons. A few years later, CityImage was born.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with so many people since 2002 in an effort to help communities across the United States better engage their citizens, attract businesses, and inform visitors. It would be challenging to create a list to thank everyone with whom I've worked over the past eight years, so I won't attempt it here.

Let me just simply say thank you. Thanks to my clients, thanks to my partners and collaborators, thanks to my incredibly supportive family, and everyone out there who believes that yes, government can indeed play a positive role in our lives, and that communicating directly with residents is a good thing. After all, they are in charge.

But I'm far from done with my mission. Effective September 7, I'll be serving as Marketing Communications Manager at GovDelivery. It's really the perfect next chapter to my career as someone who loves government communications.
